Thank you for all the Squirrels
I know I'm nuts about squirrels, but I'm not that nuts about them. Thank you for the squirrels though. :)

Squirrels could take over the world 10
There was something moving on the side of an apartment across from Seneca College. I took a closer look at it.

Guess what it was? A squirrel.

Squirrels could take over the world 9
I was going through old pictures taken with my iTouch, and I found a picture of a squirrel from back in January. It looks like I took it at York University. The squirrel looks so cute holding onto the paper bag, desperately looking for food they shouldn't be eating.

Squirrels could take over the world 8
I took a walk around York University Keele Campus back in April and saw a squirrel sleeping on the side of the tree's trunk. I our my camera to take a picture, but right before I pressed the capture button, it woke up.

Snow, I miss you
I didn't bother to edit the image other than resizing it.It was a dark and snowy morning when I took this picture at York University Keele campus on the 27th of January, 2012. Why couldn't the snow stay for another week? Every time it snows it stays for about a day, then it rains. Slightly warmer days ensue and a snowy day comes by. The pattern starts over. Does anyone else miss the large amount of snow Toronto used to get?
In other news, I saw a squirrel sleeping on my neighbor's fence on January 7. Yes. It was warm enough for the squirrels to come out sleeping on fences again. I'm not sure if it's the same squirrel from September 8, 2010's post. That would be cool, unless squirrels normally like to sleep on fences (though that's cool too).
The following image is a screenshot of the sleeping squirrel from a video I took of it.

Squirrels could take over the world 6
As my parents are talking about how stupid I am to my other family members in the room next door, I shall share this picture and not do my overdue school work.Halfway through my Wednesday lecture at school, the fire bell rang. All students had to evacuate the building. I left the building at an exit different from my fellow students and waited for the bell to end. As I was waiting, a very fat squirrel ran up the tree next to me and proceeded to eat what I believe was a cracker. It spend about 15 minutes eating the cracker, then laid down and stared in my direction with its arms under its chin (if squirrels have chins).
It wouldn't stop staring at my direction! I tried not to pay attention to it but it kept... staring. I played solitaire on my iPod for awhile until a friend of mine jumped at me, scaring both the squirrel and I. The squirrel ran away and instead of greeting my friend, I said "you scared it away!"
We had a little chat about school and Pacific Mall afterwards. The fire bell was still ringing while we were chatting.

Squirrels could take over the world 5
I have to finish a squirrel observation assignment tonight. It was fun having to watch squirrels for an hour once a week. I think the strangest thing I saw a squirrel do, other than running around in circles, was the one squirrel that jumped and spinned in te air. My wildlife management instructor said the squirrel may be sending a signal to other squirrels about danger. It makes sense considering I was there watching them from a short distance like a creeper.

This squirrel could never take over the world
I was walking with Ariana and Oie Lin on Spadina last Friday, and as we were passing by an apartment building surrounded by trees, we heard a loud thump. Something that was black and fuzzy and about the size of a soccer ball fell out of a tree. We took a closer look at it and it turned out to be a squirrel. The squirrel fell out of the tree and landed on its butt.
It sat still for a moment then ran to the back of the tree it fell out of. It didn't climb up the tree: it seemed more like it was waiting for us to do something because it wouldn't stop staring at us as we stared at it. We figured the squirrel was embarassed and wanted to be left alone, so we continued our journey up Spadina.
Is it normal for squirrels to fall out of a tree? Did that squirrel break its butt? Will I ever get to see another epic fall of a squirrel?
Heh heh. It made a loud thump noise.

Squirrels could take over the world 4
I went through the pictures in my canon camera and guess what I found?
I found a picture of the day I found a squirrel sleeping on a fence from outside my kitchen window! I remember that day.
IT WAS AMAZING!! The squirrel was sleeping soundly on the fence. I was surprised and excited, got my camera, and took pictures and videos of it! AHHHH!! When it woke up, I casually walked away. I never saw it sleep there again, but it is a squirrel event I may never forget as long as people remind of squirrels, fences, and kitchens. *nods*
Now here's a picture with its gradual close-up.

ITS EYES ARE CLOSED! I don't think I've ever seen a squirrel close their eyes before, let alone blink!

Squirrels could take over the world 3
I was travelling around Toronto today, and I kept seeing squirrels running around. I guess they're getting ready for hibernation. One of the squirrels I saw was really big. It was about the size of a large boot (I compared it to my winter boots). :P There was also a very small one. It looked so cute running around!
All the squirrels I saw today had dark brown fur though. Why were there no gray ones?! Is it too warm? O_O It's been snowing more often since last week though.

November-December
November and December: the month of tedious, time-consuming, activities.
There are so many things to do! Argh!!! I feel like biting off the head of an animal cracker! RAWR!!! I am tied between finishing both small and large assignments for school, having to study for up coming examinations, participating in extra curricular activities, worrisome health issues, a heavy-load of readings and research, and and *breaks*... (._.) I think I may need two robot arms and legs to help with supporting the weight I have to carry each day. The books I carry feels like they're breaking down my spine. I don't want to shrink because of that! I'm already averagely short enough!!! (>TOT)>
... Okay, I'm done complaining. Time for sleep! Maybe I'll see a squirrel tomorrow!
I love sleep.

Squirrels could take over the World 2
Yes. We are back to the topic of squirrels. I like watching squirrels do whatever they're doing, because I find them fascinating.
I was exiting a building today and noticed a black squirrel's head bobbing in and out of a garbage bin. I was hoping it would leave the bin with something like the last squirrel (maybe it's the same one) did with a quarter of a doughnut. It keft without any items in sight. Maybe the squirrel had something in its mouth and I couldn't see it. Maybe it already ate whatever it was looking for in the trash.
I turned around and saw a grey squirrel running from tree to tree. It looked like it was looking for something under the trees. So. Cool. Sometimes I wonder how my life would be if I was a squirrel. Hm. I wonder if squirrels wonder how their life would be like if they were humans.

I failed AGAIN
Emphasis on the word "again" please, because I am currently 15% below average passing marks in the grading scheme. I rush too much, and now I'm failing. My grammer's becoming worse too. Sometimes I don't know what I'm trying to say. Students shouldn't procrastinate when an assignment has been assigned, but I do that anyways.
On another note, I was passing by a squirrel today, and it was making a croacking noise. Are squirrels suppose to be able to do that?

Squirrels could take over the World 1
At my residence room in school, there's a hole in the window's screen--or mesh as many people call it. I call it "the squirrel hole." There are two windows in the room I share with my roommate. According to my roommate, a squirrel climbed the bricks of the building, nibbled through our fourth-floor window's screen, and entered our room. She woke up screaming when she saw it on her desk, and her scream was enough to make the squirrel run back out of the squirrel hole. Wish I was there to see the squirrel.
The squirrels on our campus only eat through garbage cans. They are often seen popping their heads out of the garbage cans. Does that mean that the squirrel mistook our room as a garbage dump... ? I wouldn't be surprised that the smell coming out of the room is attracting animals from outside. It's the fact that the animals would actually dare to climb to the fourth floor to get the food that surprises me. There's no way to get to the fourth floor from outside other than entering through the main or side doors or climbing the brick walls.
So I've come to a conclusion: squirrels could take over the world if they wanted to. They're smart and I'm pretty sure they could severely hurt someone when they're in a group even though they can't be found all over the world.
My father says otherwise. "Squirrels will become extinct soon. Maybe in ten years."
