Fairy Tail chapter 174 (possible spoilers)
The latest Fairy Tail chapter amuses me. Natsu's alternate self made me think that he's the super cool one with Natsu being the less cool one, but the chapter totally turns my thoughts around. Why does almost everyone in Fairy Tail's alternate guild seem so cowardly? Maybe it's because Erza's not on their side? ... I'll have to wait for the next chapters. Hiro Mashima, I love your work!
Alternate Natsu can look cool and pathetically adorable. Is there a word for a personality like that?
I wonder how my alternate self would be like. Hm. She might actually be attractive, have a sense in fashion, have a strong sense of justice, and works hard for money.

MTAC and Anime North 2010
I've been getting questions about my attendance at March's Toronto anime con and Anime and North.
Why yes, yes I am... unless there's a sudden school or family related event. I will be hanging around the hallways and outside the building(s).
Hm. I am still deciding that.
Public transportation.
Are you going to *insert convention name*?

Pocky Purse?
My sister and I bought a Pocky box that we have never seen before and really like the design and texture. I told her that I will make it into a portable tissue box. When she opened the box, the Pocky packaging looked and felt so nice that we decided to make pencil cases out of them. Sadly, the packaging are not long enough to make pencil cases, so the cases came out looking like purses instead.
It took a zipper, two pieces of fabric, thread, and two packages of Pocky to make the purse. I was disappointed when the purse was wrinkled after I was finished making it. The pakaging had to be wrinkled to finidh the purse. *whines*
Looks good, no? The purse was made with instructions from instructables.com. Thank you for finding the instruction, Krystal! (We actually went through over 30 issues of Shojo Beat for instructions, but we couldn't find it in there.)
The purse now belongs to Krystal.

Chinese New Year Flowers
Every eve of Chinese New Year, my family goes out to eat and stay out late buying flowers and candy. I don't know if buying flowers and candy is traditional or not, but they sure brighten the rooms we cleaned before the New Year. Many of Toronto's East Asian marketplaces usually have flower booths set up in large hallways during special occasions. There would be a good selection of flowers and trees on sale. Orchids, lilies, chrysanthemums, and irises are a few flowers that could be found every year.
I wonder what the vendors do with the flowers that didn't sell.

What I found while cleaning my room 2
My room is stuffed with stuff. I even have large boxes of I-don't-know-what. I reorganized my room a little and took pictures of things I found while cleaning it.
My sister wanted to get rid of a bookshelf in her room, and I needed a bookshelf so I took it. I put my collection of empty ramune bottles and empty Qoo drinks on the bottom shelf.
On my computer monitor there was a tablet, a rock, and One Piece keychains (I believe that is what they are called). I remember my sister coming home with the rock claiming it was my new pet rock. ("._.) The One Piece keychains were from Gacha capsule machines.
In front of my computer monitor are chopsticks elevaters (or holders--whatever you prefer to call them). I think the rest of the collection is in the dining room. They're all made of porcelain (I hope) and feel really nice and smooth. One of the reasons I like them is because of their smooth shapes.
The last few items I found in my room were a gundam and a zaku (I hope I got them right). They're covered in 7 months worth of dust. I don't clean my models until the summer. Heh. ... I see CDs in the background of the picture.

Them women shopkeepers
I was walking around Market Village and Pacific Mall's clothing boutiques and noticed that the shopkeeper was wearing the outfit she had on display two weeks before. I thought: "well that explains why most of their clothing look worn." I may have to check out her store's display again in a few weeks. Maybe the outfit that used to be there will be there again.

Exam Day
I was at an exam today and in the middle of the exam, a fire bell went off. I eventually went back in and continued the exam. At the end when the exam proctors said "pens down" there were pens flying everywhere. I mean, as people were walking down to the leveled floor to hand-in their papers, their pens would fly out of their hands or bags and stay on the floor even after they've left.
After the exam I went to use the washroom, but there was yellow water everywhere: on the floor, toilets, toilet seats, and I don't know if it was on the stalls and I didn't bother to check.
What an exam day.

Tied to the floor with work 2
February is the month of midterms, assignment due dates, reading week, and parties. It's so busy! I've been carrying a heavy load of books in the past two weeks and I think the weight as finally shown its affects on my back. I cannot stand or sit straight as often and when I turn around I can hear a crack from my back. No pain though. Not yet at least. Maybe I should go back to using a suitcase even though there's snow and puddles outside.
I look forward to attending this year's Toronto conventions if nothing necessary pops up. It's hard to believe that school staff were on strike at this time last year.
