It's called Peacocking. Originally performed by VunderBraCosplay of YouTube, it is a convention activity where you ask someone if you can take a picture with them and as you and the target pose for the picture, you suddenly dance or give them pelvic thrusts. When you have a compilation of videos where you've peacocked people, mute the audio and put on Katy Perry's Peacock. You've peacockd the convention.
Will peacocking become a new convention sensation? We'll have to wait and see what happens in the next year, because VunderBraCosplay released their first peacocking video late June this year.
